Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process in journal of Historical Findings

After the manuscript is submitted, it is sent to the internal manager of the journal for initial review. It is the author's responsibility to prepare the manuscript according to the template available on the journal website, as well as carefully read the "Authors' Guideline" page in order to solve possible problems. Mentioning each required item by the expert for all submitted articles is impossible. Due to the non-cooperation of some authors, the article remains in the preliminary review stage for a long time. Therefore, please make sure to carefully read the authors' guideline page before submitting the manuscript and follow the mentioned steps thoroughly. Downloading one of the published articles on the journal website can help the corresponding author as a template, with the difference that the authors' names and details, as well as the acknowledgment section, should be removed from the manuscript submitted for review. Except for the mentioned cases, all the cases are similar. After the approval of the journal, the article is placed in the {under review} status. If approved by the editor, the manuscript will be sent to one of the editors and then to the appointed reviewers.

  • Reviewing in the quarterly journal of Historical Findings is done in the form of peer review.
