The Shabankara kings ruled the southern region of Fars for 330 years from about the middle of the 5th century to the middle of the 8th century. Although Sahib Shabankara first narrated the events of the old Shabankara kings until the rise of the Mongols in poetry in his poetic work, Daftar "Delgosha", Shabankarai's Majma' al-Ansab is the first historiographical work that narrates the history of the old and new Shabankara kings. In this work, which is classified as a general chronicle, Shabankarai discusses the behavior and actions of the Shabankara people and the governance style of the rulers of this region, and sometimes criticizes or, conversely, praises the actions and governance style of Shabankara kings. The following article attempts to examine Shabankarai's view of the Shabankara people and the governance style of the Shabankara rulers from the depths of the Majma' al-Ansab text, and ultimately outlines the characteristics and indicators of a desirable ruler from the perspective of this historian. The findings of the research indicate that Shabankarai is seriously critical of lawlessness and rebellion, and in general, the customs and people of the Shabankara, and considers the idea of development and reform, justice, science, literature, and politics to be desirable characteristics of the ruler. The research approach in this study is descriptive-analytical, and the method of collecting information was carried out using a library method.
